Established in 1987, Spectrum Catalyst is an Innovative and “Green” Company for the 21st Century. Spectrum Catalyst has been in business for over 37 years providing quality products and services to the U.S. Gas and Electric Utility Industry and other selective Municipal, Industrial and Commercial Markets.
Spectrum Catalyst (“Spectrum“ or the “Company”) is a Certified Small Business Company, which prides itself on manufacturing and distributing high-quality “environmentally-safe” specialty chemical products; and innovative, ergonomically designed and patented specialty safety systems, devices, tools, machines and attachments.
Since inception, the Company has been at the forefront of emission particulate reduction, and economical catalyst advancement for fuel oils used in trucks and vehicles, commercial building and home boilers, coal-burning facilities and garbage incineration plants (U.S. Patent Information available on request). Spectrum has also perfected the commercialization of Non-Glycol (Ethylene and Propylene Glycol), Non-Toxic and 100% Biodegradable products, that meet the specific needs of every industry – Leak Detection Fluids, Green Degreasers, Anti-Static Elimination Fluids, Safety Hand & Surface Wipes, Advanced Dispensed Hand Cleaners, Wire and Cable Pulling Lubrication Fluids, Drilling & Coring Lubrication Fluids, Asphalt & Concrete Release Agents, Dust & Particle Reduction Fluids, Wet Fire Sprinkler System Antifreeze, Vehicle & Heavy Equipment Undercarriage Coatings, Tire Seating Lubes, and Heavy Metal Chelating & Sequestering Agents. More recently, Spectrum has expanded its affordable Grease, Sealant & Lubrication Product Line, complimenting the Company’s highly distributed Spectrum 777 Dielectric Silicone Lubricant & Sealant.
Spectrum’s Safety Products Division has leveraged the strength of Neodymium Magnets to develop ergonomically advanced safety products, which include: Mag-Lift (a manhole cover remover); Quick-Lift (a service valve cover remover); and Trench Plate Assist (a safety trench plate loading and placement device). This Division also provides a full line of innovative, steel, aluminum & plastic Vehicle & Truck Tire Chocks.
Spectrum maintains a facility in Ronkonkoma, NY, primarily for new product development and the manufacturing and distribution of Spectrum’s flagship products. For example, the Spectrum Catalyst Leak-Detect Product Line has become the Bio-Based and Bio-Preferred Leak Detection Product nationwide, with Spectrum Catalysts’ customers ordering over 100,000 gallons annually in the U.S. Gas Utility Market.
